DC - Direct Current

DC electricity is a direct flow of electrons through a conductor such as a metal wire. A battery or DC generator usually provides a source of electrons and the potential or voltage between the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals. This flow of electrons through a wire can be thought of as similar to the flow of water through a hose.
