Digital Signal Processor (DSP) a is a device for filtering, speech recognition, image enhancement, data compression, neural networks, and much more.

Basically DSP elaborates a signal as a sequence of numbers.In order to do that an input signal is first passed through a LPF and then digitized with an ADC.
