HyperText Markup Language 5 (HTML5) is a new version of HTML and XHTML. It addresses the requirements for Web Applications previously not adequately covered by HTML.
Respect to previous versions HTML5 introduces ability to use inline SVG and MathML, new elements and parsing rules, new form controls and REST support, client-side storage and much more.
